Our Stance on Legalization

We believe that a country that values life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, should not be punishing adults for using cannabis, whether for medical reasons or adult cannabis use.

Euphoric Accounting supports both individual states and the federal government legalizing medical cannabis and adult-use of cannabis and implementing clear, concise, and consistent regulation. We believe that removing marijuana from the criminal justice legal system and regulating adult use will lead to a brighter/better future for individuals and the country as a whole.

The federal legalization of cannabis would provide a plethora of benefits, whether it be improving the national economy or improving the quality of life for individuals. We believe legalization would impact in these ways:

• It will allow for health and medical research to create cannabis-based medical treatments

• There would be a reduction in wasting public resources on arresting cannabis "offenders" and end the racial disparities in the marijuana enforcement that targets and criminalizes communities of color at disproportionally higher rates

• Regulation will lead to protecting the environment by regulating and aiding the cultivation process. Regulated cannabis businesses are monitored to ensure compliance with zoning and environmental laws

• The revenue generated would boost the economy by creating jobs and generating taxes that can be used for schools, public health services, and other public investments. Not only would these jobs be beneficial to the economy, but these jobs would also open up a brand new field of study for both education and the workforce

• Investors could benefit from the long-term growth of the legal cannabis industry, allowing for cannabis stocks being free to list on reputable U.S. exchanges and would result in improving reporting standards

It is time for lawmakers to make the necessary steps to get legalization on the agenda and finally legalize Cannabis.
